At Cambridge Medical Centre we offer a range of general medical and urgent care services, along with minor surgery and specialist nurse clinics.
Ordering Prescriptions
You will need to see your Doctor at regular intervals (at least once every 12 months) to review your health and/or medication. Please don't be offended if our team let you know that you need to see your Doctor in order to get a repeat prescription. This is for your safety to ensure that you are on the right medications with the right dosage for your current health situation.
Please request repeat scripts at least 48 hours (2 business days) in advance. When you phone for a repeat prescription you will need to tell us the name, dose and frequency of all medication requested. If you haven't seen your Doctor for review at a timely interval then you will need an appointment. This is so we keep up a good standard of medical care.
There a several ways of re-ordering your regular medication from your Doctor
- Telephone the Medical Centre on 827 7184 and leave a message on our script voice mail or speak to our receptionist to request a repeat script
- Order your prescription by signing up for MyIndici (the online system) and do it online
- Drop in a note to reception
Test Results
Please allow approximately 3 days for laboratory and scan results. In case of an abnormal result, or for further instructions from your doctor you will be contacted in a timely manner.
If your test results or scan results are normal it is not routine practice for us to phone you.

Shared Electronic Health Records
We have a collaborative approach to your healthcare which may include sharing your medical information with other healthcare professionals with your consent. Examples may be sending your x-ray results to your physio or sending your consult notes as a casual patient to your registered GP.
