Cambridge Medical Centre provides a Walk-In Urgent Care Service for our registered patients for all accidents, injuries or acute presentations.

Operating hours as follows:

Monday 9.00am to 4.00pm

Tuesday 8.30am to 4.00pm

Wednesday 8.30am to 4.00pm

Thursday 8.30am to 11.30am

Friday 8.30am to 4.00pm

Please note that this service is subject to staff availability and if we reach capacity in the urgent clinic we may close earlier.  Patients are also able to access urgent care services at Anglesea Accident & Emergency who are our contracted provider to see our registered patients where we are unable to.

We may also be able to assist casual patients, this will be dependent on our day-by-day capacity.

This Walk-In service is for urgent accidents, injuries or acute presentations only. You will be triaged by a Practice Nurse to determine the urgency of your condition and scheduled to see the GP in priority order.

If your need does not meet our urgent criteria you may be booked an appointment with your GP for another day.

Walk-in Clinic Fees:

Nurse triage only: $35.00 + $10 surcharge

or GP consult fee plus $10 surcharge.

Urgent triage in the New Year

Please note that between Wednesday 22 January and Friday 28 February our Urgent Walk-in service will operate a little differently.

During this time our nursing team will be operating a phone triage service so if your need is urgent please phone us on 827 7184 to arrange a call back.  You will be triaged by a Nurse and they will discuss options with you which may include advice, a same day appointment, or an appointment on another day.

You will still be able to book appointments for general medical and ACC related services along with our Nurse clinics and Clinical Pharmacist clinic.

(Please take note of our hours over the Christmas and New Year period as they differ from normal).
